Location: The McInnes Roon, Dalhousie Student Union Building 6136 University Ave, Halifax, NS B3H 4R2, Canada

Market Time: 10:00AM - 4:00PM

Vendor Setup: Saturday, 7:45am - 9:45am

Vendor Shutdown: 4:00PM - 6:00PM

Venue Info: The McInnes room in the Student Union Building has become beloved by vendors and attendees alike.

Some features of this venue:
- accessible entrance/exit
- large bright space
- Stunning architecture makes vendors products pop
- In the heart of student life
- Trolleys for load in

Vendors will be chosen based on a variety of criteria including professionalism, social media presence, past attendance at SEVM, prioritizing local vendors, and making sure our market has variety of vendors/products. Heads up that we can take 30% less vendors in this space.

Prices:

SMALL • 6x6 feet ($60) + Tax 14% = $68.40

These booth sizes will be dedicated to vendors who require a table ONLY. If you plan to use a table and a clothing rack, please apply for the medium or large booth size.

MEDIUM • 12x6 feet ($75) + Tax 14% = $85.50

If you are a clothing vendor and need more than 3 clothing racks please apply for a large booth.

LARGE • 10x10 feet ($90) + Tax 14% = $102.60

Deadline: Please apply before March 15th, 2026 at 11:59pm

*Vendor fees will not be refunded due to unforeseen weather or other out- of-our control reasons that would impact the success or continuation of the event.

Marketing: 40%-50% of our budget is dedicated to marketing (average for other events is 20%). Each market you will be informed on what we are doing to market the event, often including the following:

- Boosted Reel
- Boosted TikTok
- Boosted IG Post
- Poster Flyers
- 2 Glow Letter Signs
- Bristol Board Signs
- 1 vendor post per vendor
- Social posts/reels

LASTLY - The SEVM values authenticity in our vendors. For our crafters/makers we want to showcase artists and business owners who are genuinely creating their own products and preference is given to those who repurpose secondhand or vintage items. We do not support vendors who resell “crafted” products they have purchased online. With recent circumstances, we are now going to be more thorough with our application process to verify authenticity in our vendors.
